Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes Russet or Yukon Gold work great
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted coconut oil for a different flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: grated Parmesan cheese fresh herbs, or spicy seasoning.

Method

  1. Prep the Potatoes: Start by washing your potatoes thoroughly. Peel them if you prefer, but leaving the skin on adds a nice texture. Cut them into wedges or sticks.
  2. Season: In a large mixing bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure every wedge is generously coated.

  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add Potatoes: Arrange the seasoned potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding—cook in batches if necessary!
  5. Cook: Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  6. Check Crispiness: If they need more crisp, add another 2-3 minutes until you reach your desired golden color.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different seasonings! I’ve enjoyed adding chili powder for spice or even some Italian herbs for a different flavor profile.
