Method
- Prepare the Beef: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Use your hands (make sure they're clean!) to mix the ingredients until just combined. Don't overwork the meat; this keeps it tender.

- Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make sure they are about 1/2 inch thick and slightly larger than your buns since they'll shrink a little while cooking.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the Patties: Place the burger patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook them for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach your desired doneness. If you want cheese, add a slice to each patty during the last two minutes of cooking.
- Assemble: Toast the burger buns in the air fryer for a couple of minutes if desired. Layer your favorite toppings on the bottom of the bun, place the cooked burger on top, and finish it off with the top bun. Enjoy!

Notes
Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. If your air fryer is small, cook the batches separately. You can also store leftover patties in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge, or freeze them for longer storage.
