- Start by cooking your pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently toss everything until the pasta is well coated.
- Take the halved cherry tomatoes and mix them into the pasta.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This step helps achieve that perfect crispy texture.
- Carefully place the pasta mixture into the air fryer basket, spreading it out evenly. You want to make sure it cooks uniformly.
- Cook in the air fryer for about 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- After 10 minutes, remove the basket and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Return to the air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Once done, take it out and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
