Ingredients

  • 400 grams paneer cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or any cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped (for garnishing)
  • Substitutions: You can use coconut oil instead of olive oil for a unique flavor. If you're looking for a milder taste reduce the chili powder. Try adding lemon juice for a zesty kick!

Method

  1. Preparation: Start by cutting the paneer into bite-sized cubes. In a large bowl, add olive oil, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix until you have a smooth marinade.
  2. Marination: Add the paneer cubes to the bowl and gently toss them until evenly coated with the marinade. Let the paneer marinate for at least 10 minutes - the longer, the better!
  3. Preheating: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for about 5 minutes. Preheating ensures even cooking and a perfect crispy texture.
  4. Air Frying: Place the marinated paneer cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook them at 200°C (390°F) for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Garnishing: Once cooked, remove the paneer from the air fryer and sprinkle with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy your delicious air fryer paneer as a snack or a part of your meal!
