Method
- Follow these simple steps to create your air fryer fried shrimp:
- Prep your shrimp: Rinse the shrimp under cold water, then pat them dry with a paper towel. Remove any excess moisture—this helps them become crispy.
- Set up your breading station: In a shallow plate, place the flour. In another plate, whisk the eggs until well combined. In a third plate, mix together the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Bread the shrimp: Start by dredging each shrimp into the flour, shaking off the excess. Next, dip it into the egg mixture before coating it well with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.

- Arrange the shrimp: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded shrimp in a single layer. Ensure they’re not overcrowded, as this will impede even cooking.

- Cook the shrimp: Air fry the shrimp for about 6 minutes, then flip them over. Spray lightly with cooking spray again and cook for an additional 4 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve and enjoy: Carefully remove the shrimp from the air fryer. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce such as cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, or even a spicy aioli.

Notes
Feel free to experiment with the spices based on your taste preferences. Adding a bit of cayenne pepper can give a nice kick if you like some heat!
